Interesting that some of these champions don’t have types (e.g. Evil Champion). I don’t remember other cards being this way but maybe I’m mistaken.

Also, typo in the title of “Ensnaring Rune.” The “r” needs to be capitalized. 🙂

In reply to Adam. Interesting. I actually really like Abyss Summoner. 2 Demon Tokens is quite nice to have, even without any other Evil. I do like Endbringer for a boardwipe, and I agree that choosing one of the Evil cards is good to break up possible Loyalty issues. I also think Ensnaring Rune is always a solid pick given the popularity of 0-costs. Nice profile pic by the way ;)

Endbringer Ritualist would probably be my choice. Abyss Summoner is probably the only bad first pick, in my opinion, but I like Endbringer over the others so I’m not passing two Evil cards for someone to start building toward loyalty.

Nice post. Looking forward to this starter deck to try to get some friends and family involved. Keeping to four keywords definitely sounds like a good way to get beginners involved.

I have a question, will we be able to shuffle this starter deck in with other decks and expansions for drafting or constructing decks, or is this solely a standalone deck?
